Woodland Assistance - Cost Share Update

Are you a small woodland owner who needs to accomplish some forestry work but isn’t sure how to pay for it? Do you need some good on-the-ground advice to get started? This program, sponsored by the Oregon State University Extension Service, will bring you up to speed on the technical, financial, and educational assistance currently available for:

  • Stewardship planning

  • Thinning and stand improvement

  • Fuels/fire hazard reduction

  • Wildlife enhancement

  • And other forestry & conservation practices
Representatives from the Oregon Department of Forestry, Natural Resources Conservation Service and other local agencies and organizations will be on hand to explain their programs and answer your questions. Funding is limited and requirements vary by program, but there are some opportunities out there for proactive landowners.
