Today's Prescribed Burns

In Jackson County, the following prescribed burns are scheduled to take place today:

• A 30-acre project on Bureau of Land Management Lands in the Shale City area, 8 miles northeast of Ashland


• A 102-acre project on private lands 4 miles east of Butte Falls


• A 100-acre project on state lands 11 miles south of Ashland


• A 110-acre project on private lands 23 miles north of Butte Falls

In Josephine County, the following prescribed burns are scheduled for today:

• A 35-acre project on private lands 11 miles south of Cave Junction


• A 10-acre project on private lands 10 miles north of Cave Junction
